Chukwudi trained at the University of Milwaukee and received a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Chukwudi is the winner of two Olivier Awards 2009, for the Histories, RSC and he is an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
He currently lives in New York.
